The Needham based law firm of Goldman & Pease, LLC is pleased and proud to announce that Attorney Michael E. Swain has joined the firm.
While being licensed in State and Federal Courts for Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire, he focuses his practice on civil litigation, business law, landlord-tenant and real estate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Swain worked at a regional law-firm, representing numerous secured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and litigation relating to real estate, evictions, foreclosures, mortgages and curing title defects. Attorney Swain also previously owned and operated a general practice serving individual and corporate clients in real estate, litigation, corporate formations, estate planning and other legal matters. Since 2016 he has served, and continues to serve, as President of his mid-sized condominium association and appreciates the opportunity to work closely with unit owners and other trustees. He is a firm believer of working with opposing counsel to reach results that are mutually beneficial to the parties involved, when possible.
Mr. Swain is an alumnus of Cornell University and Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school, he was a recipient of the Law Dean’s Scholarship, the CALI Award in Agency & Partnership as well as the Chancellor’s Award for Public Engagement and Scholarship in Action.
In his free time, he enjoys skiing, attending live music and comedy events with his wife and watching and/or coaching his son in various sports.
