Sidney Gorovitz is Senior Counsel in the firm of Goldman & Pease.
Sidney is a well-respected, established attorney with more than 50 years of experience as a seasoned civil litigator. In addition to his extensive, invaluable experience in civil litigation (having participated in over 100 jury trials; conducted over 1200 depositions; participated in over 100 mediations and arbitrations, as well as 3 years full time participation in the Boston Diocese Sexual Abuse Crisis), Sidney has advised and represented condominium associations in their disputes with developers and unit owners; he has represented institutional buyers of more than $1 Billion Dollars of commercial real estate throughout the United States; and, served his clients quite well in medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases where he has recovered over $100 million dollars in damages.
Due to his experience, credibility and results, Sidney has been named consecutively in the peer-nominated New England Super Lawyers List from 2013 – 2025.
Sidney also spent 11 years as an elected member of the Framingham Planning Board from 1992 – 2003, and was its chairman from 1995-1998. During his term on the Planning Board, the Board permitted and oversaw rapid expansion of commercial development and residential building having a build out value in excess of $500 million Dollars.
Sidney is an alumnus of Boston University where he obtained both his B.S. in Business Administration as well as his Juris Doctor (1971) in the 6 year combined business-law program.
